No WMDs?

This is not a true statement:

"Finally, the White House acknowledged that Iraq had no mass destruction weapons, the main justification President Bush used to invade Iraq."

At least, the last part is untrue. Anyone who wants to can go back and read all the President's speeches and pronouncements from before the war. We went to war to remove a dangerous dictator who was a growing threat. We had every reason to believe that he possessed WMDs. We believed this because Sadaam wanted us to believe it.

I guess propaganda never gets old.
